I earned my Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas and completed my Bachelor of Science double-major degree in Psychology & Speech Communications at Houston Christian University. I have been practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2006 and work with adolescents, college-aged individuals, adults and families. While most of my clinical work has been in Arizona, our family moved to Texas in '23 and I am able to provide services to residents of both states.
I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, self-image & body image concerns, relationship struggles, as well as biblical integration into counseling services. My experience in treating women's issues, eating disorders, body image concerns & family systems comes from several years' employment at a renowned inpatient treatment facility for eating & anxiety disorders. I also have expertise in treating adolescents and young adults who struggle with co-occurring disorders, self-harm behaviors and identity development.
In my personal life, I enjoy raising our two sons with my husband, dabbling in photography, having fun outdoors, traveling and being disappointed by the Dallas Cowboys.
